 Cascade Australia builds new operations and manufacturing facility and relocates to Darra QLD |
With deep roots in Australia, Cascade has called Rocklea, QLD home for the past 20 years. In order to accommodate the company's significant growth and expansion however, Cascade decided to move their Australian operations and manufacturing to a more efficiently designed facility in the new ConnectWest Business Park in Darra. According to
Cascade Australia's General Manager Mike Slobe,
"The new location has not only been designed specifically for our needs, it's also more strategically located so we can better serve our customers."Located approximately eight kilometres west of the original facility, the new site is situated on 1.4 hectares of land which is comprised of 5,000
m2 of factory space and 600
m2 of office space, allowing ample room for growth and development. The well thought out layout will provide room for new manufacturing lines that allow the company to react faster to customer orders as well as space for future expansion.
Slobe said,
