Gold level award winners are: Equipment Depot in Mechanicsburg, Pa; JM Equipment Inc in Manteca, Ca; New England Industrial Truck Inc in Woburn, Ma; Nissan Forklift of Michigan in Grand Rapids, Mi; and M & L Industries in Metairie, La.
Silver level award winners are: Adobe Equipment LLC in Houston, Tx; Buffalo Materials Handling in Buffalo, NY; Handling Systems in Phoenix, Az; JH Ryder Machinery Ltd in Mississauga, Ontario; JM Equipment Inc in Sacramento, Ca; JV Equipment in Edinburg, Tx; Liftec in S Plainfield, NJ; and Lift Solutions in Omaha, Ne.
Bronze level award winners are: AF Enterprise in Shreveport, La; AF Enterprise in Longview, Tx; GW Van Keppel Company in Kansas City, Ks; and LPM in Bethany, Ok.
New forklift distributor in Belgium
BelgiumA new company, HM&P International NV, which distributes and exports powered access equipment and forklifts, has been established in Belgium.
According to Access International, HM&P, founded by Philippe Parmentier and Hervé Missiaen, will offer "premium" equipment and source units for customers' specific requirements.
Parmentier has worked at DK Rental, Lavendon, Genie Europe and TVH, while Missiaen has worked at TVH and HM International.
Rental, used equipment issues get conference attention
Rosemont, IL, United StatesIssues for managers in the rental and used equipment industry will take centre stage in Rosemont at a September 13-14 conference of the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA). Richard Donnelley, executive vice president of Gregory Poole Equipment Co, will facilitate the event.
Presenters include Bill Ryan, president of the LiftOne division of Carolina Tractor & Equipment Co; Chris Wetle, president of Papé Group Inc's material handling equipment business; Brenda Ryan, partner of TDT Inc.; Tom Hobbs, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Naumann/Hobbs Material Handling; Bill Rowan, president of Rowan-Cornil Inc doing business as Sunbelt Industrial Trucks; and Jason Vavra, corporate used equipment manager of Atlas Toyota Material Handling. Each speaker is a member of Vernon Hills, Illinois-based MHEDA.
Attendees will have an optional opportunity to tour the Atlas Toyota dealership in Schiller Park, Illinois near the venue for the Rental and Used Equipment Management Conference.
