Bobcat has released its new TL623 telehandler which has a lift capacity of 6,000 lbs. (2,721 kg) and a lift height of 7 m and, with a wide range of attachments available, is suitable for multiple applications.
The TL623 features a tier four, turbo-charged engine with high torque performance, which “achieves emissions compliance without the use of a diesel particulate filter (DPF) or selective catalyst reduction”, according to Bobcat.
The telehandler has five operating modes including eco which works with less rpm, lower fuel consumption and less fuel consumption. Smooth drive mode is suitable for manoeuvring across sites, dynamic drive increases responsiveness, flex drive allows the operator to manage the engine speed independently from travel speed and, advanced attachment control mode allows for full auxiliary hydraulic performance.
Bobcat product development specialist Jamie Wood says: “The TL623 gives operators the flexibility to accomplish a variety of demanding tasks with superior precision and efficiency”.
Other features of the TL623 include a seven-pin attachment control device for additional control and functionality, automatic ride control to reduce material spillage and a mounting system for attachment changes.
A single, intuitive joystick controls the travel direction, lift and tilt functions, boom extension and auxiliary hydraulics. This gives the operator fine adjustment for lifting loads with care. On the front side of the joystick, the directional switch for forward, neutral and reverse can be operated with the index finger. The 2-speed travel switch, lift-arm float, boom extension, machine function settings and auxiliary hydraulics are located on the rear of the joystick.
Standard safety features include mirrors on the left and right of the operator, an ergonomically designed cabin, five inch LCD display panel.
Bobcat says the TL623 will be available at its North American dealerships in Q4 2024.
