Bobcat has become the latest manufacturer to step up its used equipment sales, with the launch of Bobcat Certified, the company’s new certified pre-owned program.

Following a successful pilot introduction, Bobcat is offering customers a dependable route to procure a quality used machine, in a market where the supply of machines is being rapidly outpaced by demand.

The new scheme has been launched first in the UK and Ireland, France and Germany, with Bobcat Certified machines available from Bobcat authorised dealers. Further countries are being added in the course of 2022, starting with Italy, Spain and Sweden. 

The new program ensures customers are offered premium-class certified used machines backed by up-to-date condition, safety and operational checks carried out and certified by Bobcat dealers. 

According to the company, Bobcat Certified machines have to meet a series of preset criteria to be eligible. The machines are then inspected and, if approved as Certified, are then updated to adhere to Bobcat’s latest quality and safety standards. 

Each certified machine has to pass Bobcat’s rigorous two-step inspection process and is serviced using Bobcat genuine parts, oil checks, and all necessary software upgrades.

They are covered by a 12-month/1,000-hour manufacturer’s warranty and Bobcat’s finance offers are also available to buyers.

Meanwhile, B&B Attachments is urging forklift owners to consider used attachments as a cost-effective way of upgrading their equipment.

The UK-based attachment maker says it is in a unique position to provide reconditioned clamps to meet its customer’s requirements. 

Its offering of reconditioned and refurbished clamps is inspected, serviced, repaired and tested.

“All B&B’s reconditioned attachments are thoroughly restored back to their original condition with some of the most experienced industry professionals finding it hard to tell them apart from new stock. All units are backed by our three- or six-month warranty options, with dedicated sales and service teams providing full technical back up and support,” says sales director Neal Fowler, who adds that all reconditioned attachments are sold with Thorough Examination Certification.
