Illinois-headquartered forklift battery manufacturer Battery Builders (BBi) has opened a new 10,000 sqft. (929 sqm) warehouse in California to service the US West Coast including Oregon, Washington and Arizona.

BBi says the new warehouse has the same technology as its existing Illinois location and will utilise the same processes paving the way to expanding its motive battery business with the larger warehouse.

“The opening of the California warehouse plays a central role in Battery Builders’ growth strategy, reflecting our dedication to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction,” the company explains. “We look forward to the impact this new location will have on our operations.”

Vice president of sales with BBi John Gaughan explains the opening of the new warehouse “marks a milestone” for the business, allowing it to be closer geographically to customers to improve customer service.”
