Avesco AG has opened a new head office in Langenthal, Switzerland.

Yale's sole authorised dealer in Switzerland, Avesco AG, has opened a new head office for its materials handling division.

Located at the group's headquarters in Langenthal, the 6,100 sqm (65,660 sqft) premises, named "Visavis", consists of offices, workshops and a state-of-the-art showroom.

Avesco CEO Stefan Sutter says the dealer has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Yale. "We took the decision to build the new head office for our materials handling division 18 months ago as an investment in our future."

Sutter adds that the new facility reflects the company's image as a materials handling specialist.

Yale EMEA managing director Frank Ulbricht was at the facility's official launch to provide guests with a preview of Yale's new VL electric counterbalance forklift series.

Avesco has been distributing Yale materials handling equipment for the past 26 years. It currently employs 45 people and manages about 7,000 units of materials handling equipment.
