One plastic packaging manufacturer wanted to automate their link between manufacturing and the warehouse as well as create dense storage of their finished goods. The solution was to stack four pallets in 4 level exiting racks with empty plastic containers and track the entire
operation from production to shipping using 2 laser guided Amerden AGVs.

The system automatically tracks the production as well as the inventory on hand and what has been shipped. The vehicles link the six production pickup locations with one centralized stretch wrapper and then the warehouse.

In the warehouse the Amerden AGVS performs the stacking and deep lane storage of over 500 load locations in 50 lanes, all monitored by the AGV System Manager, AGVSM with inventory control module. Intelligent automatic battery charging stations provide equalization charge schedules to maximize battery life and minimize system downtime.
This 24 x 7 operation is another example of............ Productivity through AGV Technology and Practical Solutions.

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
