Hi,
Above forklift presents with no drive, parking brake indicator light on with brake on or off (switch and wiring verified good) and code 4 on throttle tip-in in either direction. With key on and handbrake released, picked up the counterweight with another lift truck and towed to maintenance area backwards, this forklift's reverse lamps and back-up alarm come on whenever I towed it backwards, and go out when I stop. Let the truck down and hop on it to see if it moves, magically the parking brake light is out and the truck moves. Operator was complaining of the parking brake indicator sticking on and the drive lurching.
This truck has non-marking tires and the static strap is missing. Is the controller blown from ESD? Truck has Danaher controller and AC traction motor only. Lift is DC and is unaffected through all of this. Thanks for any help, customer is in high pressure environment and needs this truck running reliably as soon as possible. Will be installing strap or chain immediately, but has permanent damage been done? I do not have software or cable to connect to the AC drive trucks (help).

I found a subsidiary in Canada, Allied Electronics, but you need to know the trade name for the connector components to order. TE Connectivity showed over 2100 results in a search for "tyco plug" almost half of which didn't have a picture. I'm sure I've seen these connectors on Linde machines and on several other makes where the VCM/ECM ties into the harness. Surely someone knows these connectors and where to get them, Hyster and SMH were not able to help.
All I can sugest is RS Components thats if you have the same company where you are.

Thanks Titus,
I checked the area as you suggested and found 24V to pin 19 of the VMC 20 master controller (this wire is the sense wire for the parking brake application switch.) I did this by backprobing the pin 19 on the multiplug. I would like to extract the pin to confirm the 24V is coming from the wire and not internally, where can I get the release tool and pins & sockets for this style plug? It is a Tyco style I believe, same as found on Linde trucks with a coloured release bracket that slides out of the side of the plug and ramps the plug out of the socket.
Check out the DC-Dc converter wiring for lighting and wiring for stoplights. I experienced a simillar problem on Yale ERP Spare connector on Lihting harness underneath Battery had coroded
and shorted out, I got lucky the truck went on fire while I was checking things out with a meter, Your problem sounds simillar.
