Yale GDP050VX:
Won't.start

Anyone have a wiring diagram or insite as to why a yale glp50vx vortec v6 won't start?. I assumed ignition module had failed as no spark to the plugs. On further investigation I have a good spark coming from coil to distributor cap and that's where it ends. Cap and rotor button would be less than 12.months old and seem ok.. distributor is turning when cranking. Any advice would be appreciated or a wiring diagram..

Forksone,

First, the model you have listed is for a diesel engine and the GLP050VX normally does not come have the Vortec V6 engine. I suspect this is a GLP080VX. Without knowing the serial number or hours I would suspect the cam sensor that is mounted in the distributor. If you have over 5000 hours on lift, replace distributor assembly. The distributor is known to fail with high hours. Also, the cap and rotor are a constant annoyance. Change the cap and rotor first before anything else. Good Luck.

The hard to do we do right away. The impossible just takes a little longer.
