Hi, have a customer with 2 jungheinrich swing reach's. The customer has 3 loops of wire guidance, each loop has a different frequency.
I am installing 2 new Raymond 9700 swing reaches, they are designed to only use 1 frequency.
Does anyone know how to tune the frequency for a jungheinrich wire guidance box?
Here is the information on the box, enclosed black box, no access panels etc, only a serial port on the front.
INRO Elektrotechnik GmbH IFG 06-04 IP40
I'm guessing I need some software, and a cable to connect to the box? Any Ideas?
Thanks!

Hi Grego, I am curious what the results of this were? Were you able to get the Raymond Reach truck to run on the Jungheinrich wire guidance? I have a very similar situation that I am dealing with. The client has two Jungheinrich's but is considering replacing one with a Raymond 9700. Thanks for any feedback!
To program the Jungheinrich wire guidance box you need the JUN cable and a program called HyperTerminal on your computer. HyperTerminal is available in window 98. From there the programing of the frequencies is very straight forward. I have attended the classes at MCFA for this and have done this programming at a few of our customers thru out the region.
Good luck
If you open the wire guidance box and look at the right hand top corner there should be a row of thumb dial type switches. The left hand dial is the most significant number, typical settings are 7 and 5.2KHz. You can change the setting by adjusting the dials to the required frequency. You will also need the current rating which may be printed on the line driver. If it is not you can access the settings on the Jungheinrich VNA machine if its available to you using the Jungheinrich software and identify the current rating which will be something like 35mA. The VNA models use a program called JustControl, you will also require access codes, both of which are available through a Jungheinrich dealer.
I'm surprised the Raymond machine can only use 1 frequency of wire guidance.
Maybe that is one bit of technology BT hasn't yet passed on to Raymond.
You going to need someone with the cable and Jungheinrich software on a laptop to reprogram the wire guidance box. With the way Jungheinrich is with software you're going to have to call a dealer for them.
