Hyster H2.5FT:
VSM blown

Hi fellow forklift techs.
We had a VSM blow and smoke on the H2.5ft.
No signs of wiring damage, customer was changing out fuses before our engineer arrived and also suspect 24v was put through the battery.
Anyone know where i can have this tested / repaired?
We run a few of these machines and never any issues with the VSM.
Any advise appreciated.

They must have just started repairing g them then as they never used to, have they said if it needs programming when refitted or not?

You cannot get them repaired as the PCB is in resin, only new available and they are now about £1400, they were only around £750 not so long ago.
You will also need Briggs out to programme it.
