Discussion:
Tune up procedures

Trying to adjust timing and carb on my gasoline fueled Hyster H50XL, Serial C177B11320N.
1) Where do I find the timing marks on this engine and what are the specs
2) There is an electrical solenoid on the side of the carb. What is this for? it seems to raise the idle when it's plugged in and it almost stalls when its unhooked
3) What is the proper carb adjustment procedure (ie. solenoid hooked up or unhooked, etc..)
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
