I have an old hyster h50f, my first forklift for around the shop. The problem is that it has no power to go up hills, all other hydraulics work fine. When you hit the monotrol pedal, it just Boggs down, checked pressures on valve body and everything seems good. Cleaned the inching valve and made sure that was working. Can a bad monotrol pedal cause this? It's the purely hydraulic version. Any help would be appreciated.

It's a Ford 172 ohv, it runs good and all the hydraulics work it just doesn't want to move.
this must be a old contineal engine it sounds like the gas mixture and air fuel mixture is not right. probably running rich , fuel mixture adjusting screw too far in or out. just have to find the sweet spot make sure you adjust under load with tilt all the way back and fine tune from there
The number stamped on the right frame side is d3d736673, that's the only identification I can find on the truck.
