Transmission

I have a H60xm that a prevous mechanic took apart and replace clutchs. It still will not move ether direction. The truck has a control lever. I have checked the solenoids and they are working also, the directional spool is moving. I took it apart and all seals and clutchs are new. I have o.k. pressure form pump but no pressure to foward or reverse clutchs. I also, checked all springs and spools in the valve body. It well be GREAT for any info you guys have. I'm a Toyota/Clark mechanic so I have a bit of a learning curve on these Hysters.

Thanks roadrat. They valve body gasket was damaged and the inching spool was leaking. Again thanks. That is why I don't like going behind a machanic that doesn't know what they are doing.

What did the steel rings on the end of the clutch housing shafts look like? Were they intact? You can do an air pressure check with valve body off to check for leaks. Did you verify the voltages to the solenoids? Do you hear them click? Hollar back we will try to help----Wooops, one more thing, what was you pressure readings?

Fact of the week
The use of "hello" as a telephone greeting is attributed to Thomas Edison. He is said to have suggested it as a simpler alternative to other greetings, such as "Do I get you?" or "Are you there?".
