Im having the same issue same model I've followed along with a few of these posts and haven't come to a conclusion. so my lift wont start its duel fuel but they only run it on propane I'm not getting a signal to the relay to open the fuel cutoff if I provide power it starts but wont stay running unless power is held. I'm assuming my relay needs a ground to engage relay than solenoid but its not happening I have a black with blue trace that has a 12v signal and it is looped to the connection next to it there is a green wire that also has that signal I'm assuming it grounds out to tell relay to send power t black yellow trace but it never happens I've tried a new E/G rev switch and relay. but no difference. I'm not sure how to check signal generator in the distributer so I'm unsure if this is the issue. some things i found were a green wire with a connector on the end that goes to nothing. the gas tank is low I'm not sure if this matters on this model also a fuse marked alt is never getting voltage key on or at crank.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
It was a broken wire at the green plug by the distributor. Thanks for all the help gang!

I'm not a Toyota guy -where is the fuel solenoid relay? I'm going there on Sunday night to see if I can make sense of the wiring a bit more.

I'm having the exact same problem with a 7-series lpg truck. I supply power to the lower solenoid coil and the engine will start and idle but no acceleration. The engine light flashes 9 times if that helps. Any ideas??
Are you checking the voltage with the wires connected to the shut off solenoid??? If so you might have a short in the coil shut off solenoid. I replaced one last week. runs great
If relay is ok check signal from signal generator inside the distributor if no signal then replace signal generator and rotor, Rich
1. Please check the distributor. Take off the upper cover. Inside you can see 3 parts the multiplier, the electronic card and the sensor. The sensor some times is bended out so it is not very close to the rotating part and this provokes instability to the open-close action. Using a scewdriver bend this sensor closer to the rotating part (If you have the distributor out you can turn it using your hand. If the sensor is at the right distance from the rotating part you can fill the magnet that tries to stop the rotation). This problem happens in Toyota 7series often.
2. I dont know if the gas regulator you have is working in compination with the distributor. In 7series I have found two types of gas regulator. Both have two electronic valves on them. In the first case both valves work with the key on (so you can provide + and - using 2 cables from your battery directly to test if the regulator works properly or is a malfanction of the wiring). In the second case the small valve is activated ONLY when the starter/ignition is activated and the big one is activated with the key on and stays on during the truck is working.
3. Check also the water supply through the regulator of gas. Sometimes dirt is collected inside the regulator and the water cannot pass so the gas cannot evaporate.

It is LP gas. I checked the wires at the distributor and they seem o.k. I also swapped the relay with the ignition one. The power wire to the fuel solenoid will light a test light dimly whenever the key is on and does not go bright even when cranking. I believe the signal comes from the distributor through a rev sw to the fuel relay?
If it's the type I'm thinking of you'll only get a 12v feed to the cut off solenoid when cranking, you'll not get it by just turning on the ignition switch and checking for a live. Trace the wire (black and white I think???) back down under the left hand step to the relays and fuse box.
Have you got a little more info on it?
Please write more about the probem. I dont get it. Is your truck gasoline/lpg ? Is there a fuel cut off valve? Do you check if enough fuel comes to carbirator?
