Hi I have a Yale with a Vortec Gm engine with a code 524213-1 Horn Alarm Output could you help me troubleshoot.

Is corect it must be the OEM horn for the reasons he states but also it is in some cases necessary to delete the error log as this may be stopping the horn driver in the vsm.

replace the horn with the correct OEM horn? some horns generate considerable RF and induced voltages in the circuits.

Titus thanks for the reply the horn works fine I replaced the horn and the horn button about a month ago, any other suggestion?

Horn driver OC possibly means overcurrent, clear fault log and see if it permitts horn operation, If it comes back change horn and clear fault log again,
