Yes the Ev100 are known for having rec 2 and rec 5 problems, and is always best to replace both of them together as John has stated.
I have also found sometimes after replacing rec 2 and 5 my problem has remained and found that sometimes even though its rare the snubbers that sit on top of the rec 1 assembly can also throw up errors which point towards the rec 2 and 5 circuit.
Whats mounted in your truck for controller EV 100 ore Cableform !!

Those were very prone to bad connections at the card.
Try wedging a piece of cardboard between the card and the plug.
If thar solves the problem, then you'll have to repair the conection.
I believe that clark has a conector kit for it.
