Crown RC3020-30:
Intermittent reverse

With this crown, forward travel works just as it should but the reverse every so often struggles to fully engage. Sometimes when you move the multifunction lever back, the contactors click in and out several times and then sometimes it'll finally take off or it never does until you shut off the truck and keep trying. Other times it works for a whole shift with no issues. I have changed out fwd/rev contactors which seemed to help for a little bit and now its back doing it. I also changed out the switches for fwd/rev and tried adjusting the potentiometer. I have put a code reader on it and i'm not getting any code to help. Any suggestions?

Fact of the week
A 1904 lecture by scientist Elie Metchnikoff extolled the benefits of consuming yoghurt for halting the "intestinal putrefaction" which he believed causes aging. The press reported yoghurt as a cure for aging and the ensuing popularity is still with us today.
