Hyster E20B:
Drive Wheel Studs Stripping

I am having an issue with stripping the studs on the solid wheel hub studs. I did a brake job and have started to reassemble. I installed the taper bearing nut, although that was difficult I probably have a bad thread and tried chasing but didn't have much success.
My issue is when I tried to torque the wheel hub nuts to 150 lb-ft I started to strip the studs. I tried a new nut but the issue is with the studs. I even pulled off one from the other side and tried retightening but that started to strip as well.
I realize this forklift is old but don't know why the studs would be damaged. Any suggestions before I pull off the wheel again and replace all the studs?
