Cat Lift Trucks (& Caterpillar) E10000:
steering problems

we have this truck a2ec460359 having steering problems my tech first replaced steering motor still no steering then replaced pump no steering i went checked new motor turning wrong way. had old motor checked was good put it back in now we are blowing 100 amp fuses. motor turned just a second and blew fuse

Either the motor is shorted or the hydraulic flow is blocked casing the motor to stall.
