pedal error 1017

Can anybody help me with this please ? The forks are on the floor, the battery is charged. When you turn the key the ignition is on but the forks or the wheels will not move. The error code is

Hi Judo, sorry just seen this post - maybe a couple of years too late but the 1017 is not an error code it's the hour meter reading. The "PEDAL" relating to the accelerator pedal is the issue. The system is telling you that at start up the accelerator pedal is alreday depressed. The pedal unit (either twin pedal or single pedal) can easily be removed and opened and there are a number of servicable components inside. I suspect you have an issue with one of the internal microswitches.
