Clark C500 SERIES:
J&S Carburetor

I'm knew to natural gas engines, and forklifts. My C500-25 has a J&S Carburetor. The service manual doesn't tell me much. It looks like the carburetor has a connection to the radiator. Is that how they work? There is a small leak above where it connects to the head but the spill out on the head seems oily. I've googled J&S but don't find much info nor do I see the same shaped part. Can someone tell me about this?
Thanks.

The carburetor has a fuel line to the fuel regulator that is mounted in the thermostat housing by the upper radiator hose. Is that what you see? Does it run ok?
