Crown 35RRTT:
No Forward or Reverse (contactor assembly clicks rapidly)

Im having issues with my reach truck where it wont go forward or reverse at the moment. I can hear the contactor assembly clicking rather fast when I direct the joystick in either direction, sometimes it might engage forward or reverse but only for a moment. I did happen to catch an error code early on but I haven't seen them since. (24 and 06)

The forklift battery has a significant amount of charge, however the batteries are not in the best condition and dont hold charge for long. I did try the forklift after a charge and it still made the clicking sound.

Any help would be great. Ben

I didn't do it, nobody saw me and You can't prove a thing...
Awesome! The switch under the brake pedal was sporting a faulty wire. It looks like it was pinched at some point so I replaced it and it works just fine now.

Thanks for your reply.

Ok, I few things I would look at first. Because you say it's the same problem in both directions I would look at the switch under the brake pedal and drive motor brake switches. Also check your battery under a load, I would connect my meter to the battery cables and hit lift to see how much the battery voltage drops.
