........Lots of internal walls have been built, and squabbling between department over 'wooden dollars'.
By the time someone finally made a decision...... The customers got fed up and gone !!!
I heard they lost 60% of contract renewals !!!!

It looks very much like this rumour could be true, I use to work for one of the companies taken over by Briggs and I had a feeling that the people on the front line had more idea of how to run the company than there management, engineers coming from all points on the compass and passing each other on a regular bases soon gave me that impression. But what do I know.

I thought Briggs bought Barlows out not the other way round. Briggs are starting to sound like the disaster that Barlows ended up more and more every day

Aaaaaarh....employee surveys....confirmation that the management know, but wont admit they have run out of ideas and dont know what to do. Trying to convince the workforce that they care, and that the workforce has a voice, which of course will be listened to but not acted on. It does keep peoples eyes off the ball....for a while.

Don't panic!
The Briggs big survey is coming, your chance to put the world to rights.
Or will it be all just the same old "Industry Standard" is our motto.

CEO of Briggs will be gone in September, the new CEO has no experience of MHE so decide for yourself if this is a business that will succeed, Barloworld take over was a failure and who is to blame, you guessed it the man who is on the way out 🔫🔫🔫

Will be interesting to see whether the new CEO (who is UK based and outside of the industry) has been put in role to revive the business or get it ready for disposal.

If true possibly this is the reward for taking a successful, generally well run, profitable company, supressed by SA leeches, getting rid of anyone who actually knew how to run it and so were considered a threat, loosing shed loads of customers and money in the process.....
