Yale ERC050:
model ERC050zfn48se084

No hydraulics just gives a Code 143 as soon hydraulic levers are activated. What does this code mean? Does anyone have a compete list of codes for this model forktruck?

Showing items 1 - 4 of 4 results.
based on the information i could scrape up my bet is on the GE SX (SEM) controller.
the only one i could find this code on
it is a hydraulic code
-143 Pump Controller motor current sensor input is too low.

This status code is displayed when the voltage at the
current sensor is greater than 0.1 volts with no current
flowing in the motor circuit.

In Corrective Actions of the code manual it says:
SYMPTOM
No power to pump motor in
control range.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Control is defective.

Replace controller unit.

Now, from my personal experience with these controllers rule out everything else before you blame the controller.

- Check the main line fuse on pump controller buss
- Make sure all connections between the controller and the pump are good, not burned or loose.
- Check the motor and make sure all circuits have continuity, an open field or commutator circuit can cause this.
- and ALWAYS check your battery and make sure its charged to a decent level before you start diagnosing.

If you want all the codes for the SX controller you can find them at FSIP.biz (flight systems website)

i would agree, the 3 digit code does indicate a hydraulic system code.
The drive system code 43 indicates a motor overtemp condition which may or may not be the same.
Do you know what controllers this truck has in it?
Curtis? Danaher AC controllers? Sauer Danfoss?
GE SX?
Got a serial number on the truck?

Hi Eddy,

Im probably sticking my neck out on this one as Im not familiar with this truck but I think the code means you have a defective lift pump controler, the motor current sensor input is to low, the voltage at the lift pump controler internal sensor is 0.1 volts with no current flowing in the motor circuit I think you may end up replacing the lift pump controler if you cannot get it repaired.
