When we leave the truck unplugged for a while the truck will work but will then shoot off into top speed. I've replaced the contacts and the drive board but still have same problem.

what system is in it?
ev100zx? or microcommand?
ev100 card is mounted at top of panel in horizontal orientation
microcommand is laid flat on upper part of panel vertical

i checked in ev100 troubleshooting and there is no code10
but in microcommand there is a code 10
the causes are listed as follows:
- shorted T1D or T2D
- shorted bypass contactor tips
- open wiring
- failed drive driver board
- failed logics
- slow bypass contactor

remove the logics card and there will be 4 transistors mounted on the boards behind it
The left board is the hydraulic driver board
The right board is the Drive driver board
T1D is transistor mounted top right
T2D is transistor mounted bottom right

I've got a problem with code 10. Would the drive motor armature transistor be on the drive controller card?

Hello all, I'm working on a 2EC15 with a microcommand system. Can anyone tell me what is code E21?

I bet its a stuck contactor, once I get up there to look at it

this truck comes with either an EV100ZX system or a Microcommand system.
The codes you say come up 2 of them do not exist in the code list for the EV100 system so we will assume that this truck has the Microcommand system.

If that is so then:
Code 10 = Drive Armature transistor fault (high)
Code 11 = Drive Armature transistor fault (low)
Code 28 not on the codelist

now there is a code 38 for pump shunt field transistor drain fault (high) or a code 26 for accelerator fault (high)
all these codes will result in no lift truck operation.

the troubleshooting guide for these codes is rather extensive in what to check as the causes of these codes but i would first check for stuck contactors. Also make sure the battery is fully charged. There is also mention of shorted T1D and T2D transistors.

These are good places to start your checks

Good luck
