By any chance would anyone know what an E03-1 code; Toyota 8FGU32 would be for?
Any help would be appreciated :)
Dear Srs, I have the error E 1-2, anyone can help, my e-mail is gofiolso at gmaildotcom
fixnproblems.......could you please go over the first two ways to check the codes. Also, if you know how/where to get a Toyota analyzer or service manual for 8fgu's that would be very, very helpful to me. I kinda got thrown into the forklift world and am very interested in learning all I can and doing my best. It is very frustrating to see codes, or have a machine that wont run. Then a local service guy comes and boom, fixed very easily.
Replaced O2 sensor and cleared code. Unit is running like a top. Thanks fixnproblems for your help.
if no bad connections found. Test oxygen sensor supply voltage from ecm to oxygen sensor. If none present a failed ecm is fault,(very rare). If voltage is present, test oxygen sensor. Repeat code clearing. hopefully this may help you.
The 8 series trucks can be diagnosed three ways depending on the unit. There is a method using the tilt lever and hour meter,a method using the optional display(more upgraded truck) and the Toyota plug in analyzer(hard to find and very expensive in my opinion). The truck can store 10 codes at a time. The problem you have ran into is a common problem. Its not receiving the return signal from the oxygen sensor to computer. The code you have can really only be three things 1. harness defect(broken wire or dirty connectors) 2.a failed o2 sensor. 3. a defective ecm. First i would check the wiring from o2 sensor to the ecm for any breaks or dirty connections,if any found, repair, then turn key to run position depress the accelerator pedal 5 full times within 30 seconds then start and code should be cleared
How do you read a code on this model unit? Do you need a special reader or a laptop?
01-5:
O2 sensor open abnormality
