Won't start

I put in a new battery because it wouldn't start. Now the display reads charging and a 30 second countdown. Then the display says starter charging with another 60 second countdown-then nothing. It must be the alternator. Gonna start there. Any suggestions?

"Unicarriers - it would have to be for a dual fuel unit also. Usually a bad cam or crankshaft sensor will throw a E-27 or a E-28 code on the dash panel... If it does not light up and the bulb is bad then it will not start also."
