If the shoe adjustment doesn't do the trick, Make sure parking brake is off and try bleeding the system backwards with Mighty Vac. (Thus pushing the brake fluid up from the Wheel cylinder to the Master cylinder).

How's the brake shoe adjustment? When I do a brake job I always set the adjustment a little on the tight side so bleeding is easier & the brake shoes will wear in faster.

I adjust the brakes so that- at an idle in gear- wheels off the floor- the drive tires won't turn unless the gas pedal is slightly depressed.
