Discussion:
Jungheinrich electrical problem on hydraulics

We have a EFG 320 serial number FN314854, truck has been out on hire for 3 months in a very low use application

Had fault code 84 come up hydraulic motor would run for a couple of seconds then shut down, talked to a Junghrinrich tech that told us the sensor bearing in the motor was the cause.

Replaced that, now we have lost the fault code but the motor only spins very slowly when operating the hydraulics, does the bearing need setting up with a programmer or can anyone offer any pointers on this.

Many thanks

Off site until Monday, the speedsensor has 4 wires coming from it, the other 2 blue wires are the temperature sensor I assume, can I test that with the motor in the truck?

Sensor bearing supplied by TVH, SKF bearing that looked identical to the one originally fitted

So you would check the pot under the lever, check the temp sensor, if they are ok then it needs jungheinrich to test, does that sound about right?

It must to go faster when you pull first lever did you check potentiometer under the lever?Check that new speed sensor It have four wires
+12V supply
Bat negative
Chanel A
Chanel B
Chanel measurement 11.5-12v pulses 0.5V
But I think he is now ok,is it same like old one(part number)?
did you check temperature sensor in motor?if is all that ok probably it is problem in interface board and you need Pc to connect with truck and check parameters.

Hi Nermanja thanks for your reply

It has three levers, when you operate any of them the motor turns very slowly, creeps in fact, does not develop enough pressure to operate any of the hydraulic functions

You dont need any special settings when you change speed sensor how I can remember. Is it forklift with three levers or with multipilot? If is with three levers look under first lever you have potentiometer for fast speed and he can be a reason, other two functions are slow normally.
