The Zapi panel in the back.
Check BOTH traction & hydraulic motors, make sure the carbon brushes are all ok & also check all the wiring to the motors.
Also check the contactors in the back for dirty tips.
The traction motor can fill up with dirt / debris, these can be pressure washed out BUT you have to be careful!
Make sure battery is disconnected & stays disconnected until the motor has dried out ( we used to leave them for a few days in front of a heater ) & the resistance values are back in spec!
The hydraulic motor can fill up with dust but you can blow these out with an air line.
The Zapi panels on these DC machines don't last long if the battery is in poor condition.
yes the machine is a dc.
its fitted with a zapi controller but when zapi controller is put on it wont let me in.due what bt have done.
what do you mean about the panel?
This will actually be a Cesab as they are part of the BT Toyota family & are responsibly for the Cargo's.
Sounds like a DC machine as you mention cog symbol, if it is check the info below.
3 flashes could be either motor faulty, the wiring to either motor OR the complete panel has failed.
Do you have the handheld tester to plug in to the panel?
If it is the DC machine the panels dont like failing batteries, it really shortens the panels life span.
If its NOT a DC machine come back with serial number / year OR if its a DC or AC machine.
