Trucks with serial #'s of D3.... were made from 1972 to 1978. Trucks with serial #'s E3... were made from 1978 to 1982.
Thanks very much. I'd also like to find out the year, but the serial number on the frame ( the data plate is missing) doesn't have a letter at the end- it appears to end with a 0.- Any thoughts?
Yes, and they were the biggest piece of $hi& ever devised by mankind. Between the mallory ignation w/ the clip for the rotor, and the bellhousing filling w/ hydraulic oil, the only thing they were good for was to keep the USS Missouri secure during tidal changes.
I'll check the book for you and scan it, e-mail and I'll reply to it.
I need to know how the wet clutch gets it's supply of oil & a breakdown of the p/s cylinder. Thanks- Did you work for Hyster back in the day?
I have a parts book, but its in paper form, what do you need? Never liked those machines, Hyster lost alot of $ when then made them back in the 70's. The Ford engine just wouldn't cut the mustard.
