Discussion:
samuk/clark transmission level

Where do you check the transmission fluid level in this truck. CDP 25 has samuk stickers on it but I'm sure it's a Clark truck. Transmission filter is right on the top of the box but cannot see a dipstick to check the level. Very sluggish at picking up a direction.think it's either low fluid or the inching valve is sticking.thanks for looking

If its badged a Samuk it will be a CMP25 or a C25, you will tell by the first part of the s/no but as previously mentioned the dipstick is on the top of the l/h axle tube as the Trans and axle share the same oil which ATF. They hold about 15/16 litres.
Is it sluggish just for the first couple of mins when cold, as they are all like this until they warm up?

If memory serves me right it is on the differential by the right drive tire, sitting on the seat.
