Discussion:
SPEED SETTING

Does anyone know how to change the speed from low to high or visa versa? On a TCM with the same engine (K25), we just have a resistor which is plugged into the harness. Is it the same for a Cat or is this done only thru the computer?

if you want to do it right and have both the engine and transmission sync'd then the ecm is the only way to do it on a cat c and p series.
depending on when this cat was mfg'd depends on wether you can do it with the laptop or not, the tier1 and early tier2 's the ecm had to be sent back to the factory and reprogrammed.
