Has anyone experienced problems with faulty dash units causing direction selection problems

that sounds as if it may just be a loose wire connection or pin and socket that are loose, at the plugin in the back of the dash.

The dash goes blank and when you next go to change direction the transmission stays in the direction it was already in,checked connections ok,tap the dash and you get power back,guess it needs a new dash, thanks

this is pretty much a know problem on units with harsh floors. I am told that even though the schematic shows the termination resistor for the can bus to be in the ECU, one of them is in the dash, so you get a knock out of the can bus from the dash.

I was work on Cat dp25 and have problem on dash panel and i was loosing a drive,two times i was try to fix dash but i had a bed connection on board and i did not find him so i was change dash and solve problem.What you have?Same?
