Discussion:
Cascade Bar Clamp 25D-BAS

Hi evryone. I would appreciate suggestions regarding a continuous problem we've been seing with a Cascade bar clamp that seems to be loosing pressure and ends up droping the load while carrying it. We already regulated the press valve all the way, but problem still persist. cascade unit is brand new.
Any suggestions on what to do will be very much apprecaited.

Thnx,

OB1

mrfixit had it, lock valve. It holds the pressure on the clamp at a set value. I know cascade has a parameter used to set these with and the lock valve isolates the clamp form the rest of the trucks hydraulics.

Lock valve? There is a valve at the end of each hyd cylinder in the clamp. These have already been regulated to max press. Customer is lifting cloth packages.

Isn't there a lock valve mounted on the clamp? What are you picking up?

Hi rogeriwt. The control valve is new. There is no flow valve.

I am assuming that you check the control valve for internal leakage. Is there a flow valve for the clamp being used?
