Bt Rolatruc LWE200 Speed issue

Hi all we've got 2 Electric trucks model numbers LWE200.One of the trucks seems to be running slower than the other its almost at a crawl any ideas on what the problem could be?

Also is it possible to speed them up? If we hold down the horn and switch them on we can scroll through what looks like some settings?

Any help would be much appriciated

Showing items 1 - 5 of 5 results.
Battery could be on its way out but a BT can bus controlled truck like the LWE will normally throw its toys out & flag up loads of odd error codes at random if the battery is in poor condition.

Parameter 2 will be the speed.

Does it have a optional turtle button fitted?

Truck serial number & I can look it up on the system.

If you cant get in with the horn button to change them then the parameters are locked & your stuck unless you have a BT can key.

Pin 14 - wire number 58 is the safety arm input on the transistor controller, you should still find the wiring is fitted even if the truck hasnt actually got the arms attached, switch connectors will just be linked out.

Hi no the LWE is not fitted with safety arms.We have 2 trucks one which is quite speedy but that had a new battery fitted 6 months ago.The other trucks so slow compared to the other maybe the battery is going?.

Which one would i choose for the speed option on the parameter list? we can scroll through the parameter menu using the throttle up & down but haven't been able to change any of the settings will give the horn button a try.

You can view the parameters without the can key connected.

Is this LWE fitted with fold up safety arms? if it is then check the switch is working correctly else the truck wont speed up & will stay at pedestrian speed.

If your really really lucky then you may find the driver parameters are unlocked, you do find the odd one now & then that is left unlocked by mistake.

Parameter 1 is for the turtle mode, parameter 2 is max speed.

Truck OFF

Press & hold a horn button

Switch truck ON

Look at the display, wait till P is shown then release the horn button.

Use the throttle forwards / backwards to scroll through the paramater list till you get to the one you want to change.

Press horn button again, the number on display will now start to flash.

Use the throttle to change the parameter value on the display to what you want the setting to be.

Now press the horn button again to stop the flashing & save the new paramater value.

Once you have finished switch the truck OFF then back on again.

If the truck has been locked out & wont let you change a parameter then you need a BT can key connected.

Hi David

If there are no error codes best to check the battery and then any mechanical issues that might cause it to slow. You might want to try change the throttle assembly off one to the other and eliminate that. Settings can be accessed and speed can be altered through the display with a canbus key connected to the system. It may be that previously the settings have been left so that it can be adjusted without the canbus.
If you want to add an email in your profile myself and others can forward you some information which will show you how to access the parameters settings etc.
