Have a S80Xm with no forward or reverse check wring to the switch control is OK.Fluid is not a red colour ?Block unit up and i have motion with left side wheel right a little tight freed wheel.Still problem some help!

Do you have voltage to fwd & rev solenoids on the control? If no, you need to trace down an electrical problem. If it is a 2006 or newer, it has the operator presence module. Check the brake pressure switches and seat switch. If you have voltage, check trans pressures.
fluid is clear like hydraulic oil- GM engine. I tought it's trani oil is red ? I can see if one direction failed but both ?
Lever control and check fuses and wiring harness.still lost
hi Logic, trans uses special fluid called "Hytrans" "Tractor Trans" Hy-Ken etc. it is a dual-purpose hydraulic and transmission fluid.
have you taken pressure readings of the transmission yet?
what's your serial number? trans does not use dextron, will not be red. is unit monotrol or lever?
