Id check the battery lock switch is ok first, just because the light isnt on the dashboard doesnt mean the switch is in good order, does the truck drive in snail mode, it should do even if the battery is out.

Hi, There are 3 pins connected to the acc. potentiometer : one (X65:2) for GND, one ((X65:4) = 12 VDC and one (X65:5) = Acc. signal : Using the meter to connect between (X65:2) & (X65:5) it should be = 1.2 - 2.56 VDC when Acc. pedan in Zero, and 9.4-10.8 VDC when full pressing the pedal to max.
* Using the Ohm meter to connect between (X65:7) & (X65:9) loacted under the pedal to check the pedal sw => it must be = 0 Ohm when pressing the pedal.
* Using the Volt meter to connect between (X54:2) loacted around the foot SW against one of the positive pole to check the deadman/foor sw => it must have 0 VDC at this pin when pressing the foot sw.
* Using the Ohm meter to connect between (X51:4) against (X51:1) & (X51:2) located around the direction SW in order to check this sw => it must be = 0 Ohm when pressing the SW.
Let me know your checking results
Good luck and rgds

Hi,
Do you have to take the foot unit off to check for broken lever or can I use a meter to check if the switch is working on the connection plug, if you can do you know the pin numbers on the plug to check.
thanks Pete

Hi,
Your truck was produced in 1994, it is an old model but I think the controller is smart enough to alarm the error code if it really has problem. In your case, the truck has no drive and no error code this means the truck is missing one of GND singals for the drving enable condition which is not a serious problem. Please check carefully the following posibilities : deadman/foot switch, direction switch, contactor tip, pedal or accelerator switch, check if the brake is blocked,....
Good luck
