8 series toyota lazy throttle response

unit almost stalls on decelleration, idle up catches it then 2-3 second delay on throttle response. driver hates it. anyone had this

remove plugs from throttle body and undo 4 10mm nuts remove throttle body and clean out carbon under butterfly valve.have had to do this procedure on some of my high hours 8fgcu 20 as butter fly valve does nt shut off properly due to carbon build up,still a lot easy than un blocking 7 series manifold.
