Discussion:
Komatsu FS20SH-1 Little black box

I am trying to track down an error on boot up on our old forklift. We traced it down to a little black box connected to the main contactor. Bascily, right when you plug in the battery, the main contactor engages and this throws an error. If I remove the leads from the box that go to the contactor then the lift gets no power at all. I have the parts manual and there is nothing I can find in there about it and there are zero part numbers on the box itself. Going to post a pic in the replies of the box.

Thank you!

I have since been doing some testing and removed the box completely and it still trips the contactor right away when getting power, so its not the box. Anyone familiar with this forklift that I could pay for a Facetime call to go over it and see what I should be checking?

Fact of the week
In March 2002, identical twins in Finland died on the same day in similar accidents within hours of each other. A 70-year-old man was killed by a truck while cycling; hours later, his twin brother was killed by a truck on the same road, about a mile away, before the family had been informed of the first accident.
