Maintenance indicator light reset

Hyster s80xm, I believe Serial #309327

How does one reset the MIL?

Forgive my ignorance, this is just a little lift we have for moving metal here at the shop and I have zero information on it.

Josh,

The MIL light only comes on when a code sets or you have a wiring issue with the circuit. Remove floor plate and locate a square four pin connector. They should be labeled A, B, C, D or 1, 2, 3, 4. Jump the A to D or the 1 to 4. Watch the MIL light and see if you get codes. Code 166 should come up three times to let you know the circuit is good. After that you should see additional codes. Check your coolant level and the oil pressure sending unit mounted under the distributor. If your leaking oil, replace. Good Luck.

The hard to do we do right away. The impossible just takes a little longer.
