Discussion:
monotrol no power

I have a hyster s60xm serial D187V09651V
It will not move forward or reverse and no hydraulics to steer or lift. Im assuming a interlock somewhere wiring harness has been cut and spliced here and there. no signes of a seat switch cutout or wiring. Would this model have seat switch and would it cause no drive or hydraulics?

This could be multiple problems. I would first check the park brake switches. One switch is to start the engine and the other one is for the transmission. If the switch doesnt see the parking brake released, it will not allow the trans to go into gear.

Fact of the week
The use of "hello" as a telephone greeting is attributed to Thomas Edison. He is said to have suggested it as a simpler alternative to other greetings, such as "Do I get you?" or "Are you there?".
