Does anyone have any legit info on LiftOne about the way the employees are treated(Techs)? They will soon be my employer, and finding employee feedback is difficult due to the fact they are pretty well unknown in this part of the country.
I would guess that after Briggs really gets in here, they'll see where the mismanagement is and they'll bring in their own people. Florida has been a disaster for years and it's not the techs fault.
I don't even work for Barloworld/Briggs but I know who you guys are talking about. LOL.
Looks like Briggs doesnt recognize bad management either, they let go of one of the smartest and hard working managers in the Florida division and kept the useless upper management.
If any Briggs people are reading this the Jim's need to go or you are going to have the same results as Barloworld.
It is true Briggs has a good program, once you are vested! I only made it 2/3s of the way so I tossed all my money back into the pot for the others! If I had to go back and do it again I would do the same thing
all still quiet on the home front???????? Hve any axes falled yet?
As far as dealing with employees?
The only things about this sort of stuff that is possible to say honestly, is that you NEVER know the whole story of these things, even any of the players only know a portion.
AND
Each and every situation is only what -you- make of it.
i decided to remove this commentary, some folks just like to pick things apart and take them out of the context they were meant for.
So in short i'll just say that i work for a great company period. Nuff said.
You got the idea. Sometimes one writes things to baitr others in conversation. I would like a real honest opinion of Lift One and how they have operated in the past. Not in this open forum setting but I have an e-mail address listed in my profile. If you would be so kind.
"Kinda like when asked by a woman(wife, girlfriend) does this make me look fat? "
ummmm meliftman,
of course you know this question is always a baited question
LoL
Very wise words Edward. I am always the same whether on a public forum or in a private conversation, honest. As a christian first, and a business person second, honesty is a priority but I also realize one must use discretion. I would not, even if true, openly criticize people and name names or specific groups. I choose what I say carefully, knowing the right person could use it against me or to further their own agenda. I have no problem being accountable for what I write or say. Kinda like when asked by a woman(wife, girlfriend) does this make me look fat?
some very wise words spoken there edward :)
accountability is one of our company's philosophies and being accountable for what you say is very important.
Nothing wrong with being honest.
I mean really.... who wants to put thier trust in someone that is.... ummmm.... not honest?
duh...
:D
Meliftman, while I personally pretty much agree with you on the name thing, [and I don't hide my -own- id], I can sure understand, and have observed in the past, that some 'management types' do not always appreciate being associated with what is said publicly (in an open forum, like this one) when they don't have direct control and veto power over what is said, before it is said. Even some of the folks (in this very thread) who are being touted as 'understanding' and 'good people', have expressed (directly, privately, and in no uncertain or ambiguous terms) a desire to control the conversation their employees have in public.
There can be and sometimes are repercussions for being open and honest, and we have to beware and be prepared to pay for those repercussions if we desire to own and be known for owning our own words.
AND owning the words does not make them any more true than the same truth (or untruth) spoken anonymously so there is only a limited advantage in the long run, to being so open, and you never know when someone else's confusion or desires may try to use your words or participation in a way that does not help you.
Speaking of,,,
HEY, I just saw the letter from MCFA announcing that G&W was going to get the rest of the MCFA channel brands, so congrates to the Sabbagh family, and their employees.
