What's the best 16,000 lb. "LP" forklift?

I'm looking for a new 16,000 to 18,000 lb. capacity "LP" forklift. This lift will run 16 hours a day, 6 days a week. I use a Linde H80D, 17,500 capacity lift now. This lift does a good job but it's dieseal. Linde doesent make a "LP" lift of this size. I've got a Taylor and a Hyster "LP" but their to slow and don't have the guts that the Linde does.

It's kind of funny, I asked what brand of lift is avaiable in a 16,000 lb. capacity that has an LP engine. And that the Linde's I use now do a great job, but they don't offer it in a LP. Since then several people have really thrown off on Linde lifts. I currently have 44 lifts running production every week. 11 Hysters, 1 Yale, 3 Cat's, 1 Mitsubishi, 9 Taylors, 1 Moffett, 6 Nissan's and 12 Linde's. The Linde's will run circules around all the other lifts, they have Deutz or VW engine, hydrostastic drive (no brakes), the engine automaticaly increases rpm's as the mast is raised. I could go on and on about how much better a Linde is. They are such a great lift that I just ordered 6 more. Anyway, the Linde people tell me that if there is enough interest in a 16,000 LP lift here in the USA that they will have one here in the next year or two. "German Engineering"

It is a Deutz water cooled engine. The Perkins 1004.4 that was used in the 352 series truck was a nice engine. Low exhaust emissions, quiet and didn't leak. I can't say the same for the 3 cylinder Perkins that was used in the 351 series truck.

if you have a linde that leaks everywhere and wont stay running, then you have...

A) neglected and abused it
or
B) a really shtty service company
or
C) both lol

ive worked as a linde dealer tech for over ten years at my prior job
linde is the best truck out there by leaps and bounds
i seen lots of older lindes still in service with no leaks and always run

New York, New York its a heluva town..you know that The Bronx is up..and I'm Brooklyn down
I guess I've got to count myself lucky hundreds of times over and so do many others. Why would tens of thousands of people the world over spend 20+% more for a forklift truck that won't stay running and leaks everywhere and the stupidest thing is that they buy them again and again.
You know they're probably the ones that have caused this financial meltdown too. Yeah, that's the ticket.

The New Linde engine actually meets Tier 4 emissions standards that don't go into effect until 2013. It will be labeled "Tier 4 Interim" It's probably the cleanest industrial diesel engine in the world today. Also better HP and better torque than its predecessor. Linde actually does offer this chassis in LPG in Europe.

You won't find many trucks this size that run on LP and you won't find any that have the guts that the Linde offers. Linde just introduced a new series diesel truck in that size and it is Tier 3 compliant which means that the exhaust emissions are negligible. Give your local dealer a call to find out more information.
