Do the Uk dealers not have to "stock to sell" or can we honestly say that orders by and large can be secured for regular Lifttruck with the Customer happy & willing to sit tight for weeks and weeks for their truck.
My belief is you may sell the odd truck from demo or new stock line but the wholesale warehouse concept is not here due mainly to application and specific need as well as lack of huge funds to sit kit in a shed!
What's the ideal scenario?

It costs alot of money to have inventory sitting around- waiting to be sold. New trend seems to be allowing a customer to use a rental unit until their specific new unit comes in.

We stock from 1000's of pallet trucks through to 3500kg C/B, including ped stackers, reach trucks and lots more, all new! It's fundamental to our business model. Although most clients will accept 12/14 weeks for something a little bespoke.
