service light on . 39x truck

does anybody out there know of a way to turn off the service light on the dash display of a h30d. truck is 15 months old. i know linde use a laptop but is there another way.

As I found out whilst working for linde over here...the engineer servicing the truck won't necessarily have the equipment or the know how to reset the service interval!!. So next time you have a breakdown get the bloke that comes to reset it as the PME probably couldn't!

sadly, thats the extent of a lot of customers PM contract lol
i always love it when a customer buys a truck and doesnt get a pm contract, then in 3 years we hear from him again and his engine is seized up and the factory filters are still in place

Yes, thats a really good way to maintain a forklift. The service light is set to come on for a reason. Dont ignore it, thats bad practice.

next time when for some reason u have to get linde to work on the forklift ask them to set the next service due at 20000 hrs
