In case anyone else needs the information, the caterpillar lp engine in my gp30k is a Mitsubishi 4g64 which happens to be the same basic engine as a number of passenger cars and light trucks. The head is the 8valve version so a head gasket kit would need to be sourced for that particular setup.

I am purchasing the Engine Quest EQ-GSG64 head gasket set to repair my forklift. (Comes with valve seals)

Assembly, timing and torque specifications can be used from any passenger vehicle that uses the 4G64 engine.

Fact of the week
Funerals in Spain typically occur within 24 to 48 hours of death, whereas in other European countries they wait one or more weeks. This rapid timeframe is a cultural norm grown from the past need to manage the warm climate without modern embalming.
