Hello
My name is Pete; I'm new to the forum. I have a question I hope someone might be able to help with. I run a small equipment repair business and have to move trailer mounted pumps, so I purchased a FG20N6 off craigslist. It runs and works and all, but my problem is gearing. I have a slight grade going out of of my shop and the forklift just doesn't seem to be able to manage it very well, while pulling a trailer. Some of my equipment is in the 10K pound range. It just doesn't pull hard enough. I only have 1 forward and 1 reverse gear. I would like to reduce my gearing to make it pull better (speed is no concern). Has anyone run into this? Is there a way to re-gear the front axle or transmission? Thank you very much

Fact of the week
The first practical visible-spectrum LEDs were red, not white. The red colour was the easiest to produce using the semiconductor materials available at the time (the 1960s). The alloy gallium arsenide phosphide (GaAsP) used emitted red light.
