The pin you pulled to get the error code relates to the SAS system not the engine. Do you have a check engine light on? Sounds like your regulator has a little byproduct in it that needs drained out or removed. The product is keeping the inner workings from performing properly. The Aisin fuel system has a drain on one of the sides on the bottom it will be a 12 mm plug with small brass washer. Impco you either rebuild or replace no drain. The Aisin before draining warm up the engine. Shut it down then remove the drain plug. This may take several times to get the maximum amount out. This should be done on every oil change. I've seen the drain plug port clogged needing cleared.
